Sebastian Brendel is a former German canoe sprint paddler (born 1988). He specialised in the C1 and C2 events over 1000 m. A three-time Olympic champion, he won C1 1000 m gold at London 2012 and Rio 2016, took C2 1000 m gold at Rio 2016, and finished third in the C2 1000 m at Tokyo 2020. He also won 13 World Championship titles and numerous European titles before retiring after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
