Dominika Putto (née Włodarczyk) is a sprint kayaker for CWZS Zawisza Bydgoszcz, a world champion in the K4 500 from 2022 and an Olympian from Paris, where Poland's crew finished an agonising fourth in the K4 500 final. She races everything from K1 to K4, with the 200 and 500 metre distances her territory. Her first global medal came in Copenhagen in 2021, a bronze in the K2 200. A year later in Halifax she struck world championship gold in the K4 500 alongside Karolina Naja, Anna Puławska and Adrianna Kąkol, adding the European title in the same boat class in Munich that season. Duisburg 2023 brought K4 500 silver and, in a reminder of her individual speed, bronze in the K1 200. After Paris she disappeared from the results sheets for a full season on maternity leave. The comeback, in 2026, has been emphatic: World Cup silver in the K2 500 with Adrianna Kąkol in Szeged, then another podium in the K4 500 at the [European Championships in Montemor-o-Velho](/news/poland-european-canoe-sprint-championships-2026-borucki-en). Her 2026 ledger reads 22 starts and four medals — three silvers and a bronze — across K1, K2 and K4, a [return to the national team](/news/kadra-walcz-czerwiec-2026-en) that could hardly have gone better. The [season's centrepiece](/news/poland-2026-european-canoe-sprint-championships-squad-en) is still ahead: a home World Championships in Poznań (26–30 August) and the start of the ranking road to Los Angeles 2028.
